Gemini School of Modelling & Self Improvement was founded over 25 years ago. As a former model
and modelling instructor, Audrey brings over 20 years of experience into her role as President and
CEO of The Gemini Group.

Since purchasing Gemini in July of 1991, Audrey and her team continuously work toward developing new
and exciting ways of remaining competitive and at the forefront of the fashion, beauty and entertainment industry.

In order to provide clients with the level of service they have come to expect, the following four major divisions were established:

• Gemini School of Modelling
• Gemini Entertainment Group
• Gemini Model Management
• Gemini Consulting

Becca has been a model with Gemini for over two years and has participated in various fashion shows, print, and promotional work. She is excited to be the newest member of the Gemini team, as a Modelling Instructor and Birthday Party Co-ordinator. She is thrilled to share her first-hand knowledge and passion for the industry with her students.

Beyond Gemini, Becca is a full-time student working on the completion of a degree in Honours Sociology. She volunteers locally and hopes to volunteer abroad in 2011 after her final year of school. She looks forward to continuing to work closely with Gemini in the future.

Word of the Year: Focus: the concentration of attention or energy on something. This is a year for me to set goals, focus on them, and achieve them.

Kathleen has been with the Gemini Group since the age of fifteen as a student, model and now instructor. With her years of participation in various fashion shows, photo shoots and promotional work, Kathleen brings first-hand knowledge to her students with great energy and enthusiasm.  
 
Beyond Gemini, Kathleen is a full-time student working on the completion of a degree in international business management.  Her strong sense of community has led Kathleen to volunteer in many projects both locally and abroad. She looks forward to continuing a bright future with Gemini.

Word of the Year: Now: You can't build your success on what you're going to do. This is a year for me to take action, try new things, and make decisions.

Laurie became interested in the fashion & beauty industry at a young age. She started with Gemini in 2001(at the age of 14) taking the full year modelling program. Throughout her year at Gemini, she participated in several Fashion Shows, both as a model and as a back stage assistant.

In January of 2002, she was hired on with the Gemini team as an Office Assistant. After returning from a modeling contract in Korea and Hong Kong she has taken over the role of Model Bookings Manager. Laurie handles the day-to-day operations in the office and as well, she works daily on keeping the Gemini website up-to-date.

Word of the Year: Persevere: To persist in anything undertaken. To maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement.

Sarah has been working in the fashion and beauty industry since 1993. She began her career in modelling by performing in fashion shows and print work for Gemini when she was 15 years old.

At the young age of 18 years, she landed a job with Estee Lauder and became a Beauty Advisor where she was trained in both skin care and make-up application. She continued working with Estee Lauder for 3 years and since has been hired on with the Gemini team as a Make-up Artist, Modelling Instructor, and Birthday Party Co-ordinator.

Stephanie Storm is a clothing designer for the emerging label Glyphiks. She started her company in 2000, deciding to embark on an unpredictable business idea: Artistically simple Canadian clothing. A graduate from the University of Waterloo Fine Arts Department, she used her skills in computer graphics, sculpture and photography to develop a clothing line that appeals to women with an eye for something unique. The following year, Stephanie attended the Venture Creation Program and learned the necessary skills to run the business.

Today, the label is going strong, as it continues to grow and evolve into a unique alternative to mass produced clothing.

“Glyphiks has different outlook on the Fashion Industry. Our goal is not to mass produce our garments, but to bring our customer a sense of individuality by only doing small productions runs with high quality fabrics and unique designs. We do our best to promote green living by creating a garment that will stand the test of time, and we are conscious of limiting our waste and avoiding plastic packaging.
